    A pretty 3 tier wedding cake.  The design consists of miniature handcut fans all individually attached to the cake to achieve visual perfection.  Each tier has been ‘blocked’ with artificial foam roses in pink to complement the 4 pastel shades of the fans.

    I am thrilled that 2013 is seeing the emergence of two new styles,  my favourite colour combination of navy and cream and the age old technique of sugar ruching [or ruffles].  This 3 tier stacked cake depicts both, it has a fabric effect on the navy icing and clean, piped embellishments on the cream.  The deisgn has been finished off with a sugar brooch of sapphire and pearls.  A very elegant affair!

    A four tier wedding cake of various flavours.  The tiers alternate between plain white and a pale pink with piped lace replicated from the wedding invitations.  The cake was separated in two halves and decorated with fresh flowers provided by Bo-K Florist in Goring.

    I designed this cake especially for the Gay Wedding Show in Brighton.  It is made up of 7 tiers and the design and detail is completely hand sculptured from sugar.

    The average servings for this cake is 150 sponge sized portions.

    This stunning four tier wedding cake was designed for a very grand wedding celebration at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.  Each panel was individually crafted from sugar and pearlised with a hint of yellow before being assembled.  Each tier was then completed with an array of handmade sugar roses and calla lilies.

    Designed for a winter wedding.  4 tiers – 4 flavours. The cake is decorated with a swirl of individually handpiped snowflakes and topped with a snowflake burst.  The final touch was the delivery and setting up at the beautiful Upwaltham Barns.

  • Oriental Blossom

    A 3 tier cake with an oriental theme.  Ivory icing with aubergine ribbon seated on a black cake board.  The oriental theme has been captured in the handpainted blossom tree and enhanced with delicate white blossom.  As the design grows up the side of the cake it then flows into a spray of blossom handcrafted from sugar to complete the design.

    Simply Beautiful was the foundation for this cake design but personalised with the bridal colours and style.  The handpainted peonies were duplicated from the wedding invitation and then reproduced as sugar flowers for the finishing touch.

    A tall 4 tier cake with an offset base tier.  The icing has been airbrushed with a pink shimmer and then finished with iced ribbons and piped hearts.  The cake was delivered to The South Lodge hotel where the cake was completed with fresh flowers.
